"We were extremely disappointed from the moment that we arrived; the ice machines on all the floors were not working, the room was only set up with linen for two people, eventhough the reservation was for four. The lighting in the room was so poor we could hardly see. The breaker in the bathroom blew while I was drying my hair(with their blow dryer) and we were without any electricity in the bathroom for approximately 15 minutes on the morning of our departure...try taking a shower in the dark. The second day of our stay, the room was only set up for two again and the kleenex was not replaced in the bathroom eventhough it was empty from the night before. We also had a really irritating experience with the internet usuage. Before our arrival, we were told that we would have no problems with our daughter using the internet for a college class that our daughter was taking this summer. No one could figure out what we needed to access the hook up in the restaurant and because we needed a DSL, we couldn't use the room internet. I was practically in tears at this point as one person told us to get a code, then another employee told us we didn't need one. Finally, we were told that we could use the hotel's office computer, which was a very accomadating gesture considering that my daughter had to take an on-line test by 10p.m. that night. However, even this situation was handled very unprofessionaly because we were willing to just wait in the lobby for the 10 more minutes that an employee needed on the computer, but we were told that they would call us when she got off. Well, 45 minutes later, no call...so my husband went with our daughter downstairs and I guess they forgot about calling us. The whole computer issue caused us to go to a relative's house the following 2 days for our daughter to continue her college course work. We felt like we were calling the front desk way too much, but get real, shouldn't the kleenex be replaced without asking? The only great service at the hotel was room service. It was fast, delicious and appealingly presented. Sadly, we have stayed here before, but will never return. With relatives in Denver, we will look for somewhere else to stay next time."
